The AOCDET-HDMI range of cables are Active Optical Cables that have a detachable hood to reduce down to micro HDMI for feeding through ducting or small spaces, they come with a protective case to protect the pins while feeding through, you then need to attach the metal HDMI hood again for use with HDMI equipment.
Should power be needed at the display end, these come with a USB power cable.
5v 55mA is the minimum requirement 5v 150mA is optimal Anything over 5v 1000mA could damage the chips.
