These Excel corrugated steel tape (CST) OS2 9/125μm armoured loose tube optical fibre cables are designed for applications requiring high mechanical protection, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The singlemode fibre is G.652.D compliant low water peak grade, offering OS2 performance with OS1 backwards compatibility. These cables are rugged, rodent-resistant, and quick and easy to install, making them ideal for outdoor and underground use. The CST armouring provides additional strength and protection, and the cable is specifically designed for direct burial—a sand backfill must be used for proper installation.

These cables are water-resistant, UV-resistant, and duct grade, offering robust protection for long-lasting performance. They are sequentially metre marked for easy installation.
